Mission Statement

The Marching Blue endorses and is strongly supportive of the letter and spirit of the missions of the High School. In order to give substance and meaning to this statement, the Midview Marching Blue is an ambassador to the Midview School District and will be composed of dedicated and accomplished musicians striving for the highest levels of excellence in academics, discipline, and performance.

​Dedication and intensity are the driving forces behind the Band Program. Dedication is demonstrated by each member’s commitment to making every rehearsal or performance superior to the one before. The band’s motto “Pride” embodies this ongoing pursuit for perfection. Intensity is generated when each individual gives his or her best towards the group’s goals. This creates cohesiveness and unity in the organization, which fortifies its strengths and broadens its capabilities from within.
